Grace’s scholarship (applications now open)

Marine Scholar Grace Frazier has faced her fair share of challenges: In September 2018, Hurricane Florence hit her town and destroyed much of what she called home.

But Grace is the daughter of a Marine – and, in that moment, she knew she could find strength in her Marine Corps values. “My family lives by the values of honor, courage, and commitment,” she told us. “They are what get us through the good times and the bad, and I owe it all to my military upbringing.”

Grace made a commitment to work even harder in school – and, even in the aftermath of the hurricane, she made the dean’s list two semesters in a row. After she completes her studies at Appalachian State University, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in social work – so she can dedicate her entire career to helping others.

We’re honored to support students like Grace as they work to bring the Marine Corps values to life in their communities. Our Marine Scholars are building a brighter future for our nation, and they shouldn’t have to carry this financial burden alone. As Grace said, “With this scholarship, the stress of having to pay for school is one less thing to worry about.”

Scholarship applications are now open, and we’re searching for the next class of young people raised on Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
